Jourdan Lamarre- Trainer, Social Media Director
Jenny Heiman- Front Desk Manager, Customer Experience
Hi, i’m Jenny, and i’m a long time Edge client, turned team member. In fact, I could be considered an original Edge member. I starting training at Edge to lose the weight gained from my first pregnancy, and learned to not gain it all back during my second. Now I have two beautiful little girls, a much better body, and i’m part of the coolest team ever. I helps OUTworkers manage their billing, scheduling, referrals, social media, email questions, and overall happiness as part of the Edge Family. Basically I put the service in customer service 🙂
Yisel Carbajal- Trainer, New Client Contact
Yisel took a different path than many in this field. Not an athlete growing up, Yisel struggled with staying fit. When she graduated high school, she threw herself head first into both learning and doing. Training sometimes 10-15x/week and eating under 1200 calories a day (by a past trainer’s, at a supposed premier local gym, instruction). The result? Metabolic syndrome that had her gaining weight any time she ate even a little relaxed and not getting the results she wanted. Looking great, but feeling awful, she was fed up. When she learned about Edge from one of our clients, she came in right away for an internship. A natural with the people here because of her ability to relate, she learned the proper way to coach, cue, and communicate with people, and has grown herself into a valuable part of the Edge Team.
Mike Spagnola, Founder, COO
Hey guys, i’m Mike. I help people by instilling belief, motivating, and encouraging them to find the strongest, healthiest, and happiest version of themselves. I know it looks like i’m a jock-y, bro, meathead that lives in a gym, but nothing could be further from the truth. Well, I am kind of a bro, but a nice one, you know?
I never stuck to playing sports growing up. Like I said, I look like a meathead, but I didn’t always, and I’m not super athletic (I leave the athleticism to my little brother) I tried, but liked the gym more than the sport. I also like eating, so I massively struggled with staying in shape. Being I was also hardly 5’2” and over 200lbs when I started high school. It was then that I realized two things: I wanted to be 6’0” tall and 225lbs of jacked. Sorta like the Rock, but with less money.
Well, I didn’t get to either of those things, because i’m only 5’8” and 225 and only sort of jacked. But, what I found along the way is the keys to live a stronger, happier, and healthier life, and now it’s my mission to share these key points with as many people as possible.
